■中秋の名月　文学館お月見会

Did you see last night’s harvest moon?
皆さんは昨日の中秋の名月をご覧になりましたか？

There was a moon-viewing gathering at the KOSHINOKUNI Museum of Literature, in commemoration of the first anniversary of its founding.
富山市の文学館で会館1周年を記念したお月見会が開かれました。

There was a concert and dancing in the moonlight.
月明かりの下で、ダンスやコンサートが披露されました。

The participants enjoyed the performance to the full in the evening of the harvest moon.
来場者は名月の夜に開かれたステージを心ゆくまで堪能しました。

■つくりもんまつり

A festival called “Tsukurimon Matsuri” is being held in Fukuoka district in Takaoka City. The local people make and display various dolls and objects using vegetables which were harvested this year.
「つくりもんまつり」が高岡市福岡町で開かれています。この祭りでは地元の人たちが今年とれた野菜で人形等を作るのです。

It has a history of over 300 years.
「つくりもんまつり」は300年あまり続く伝統的なお祭りです。

There is an array of objects that depict the current social conditions.
作品には世相を反映したものがそろっています。

Among them is Mt. Fuji which has recently been registered as a world cultural heritage.
世界文化遺産に登録された富士山の作品もありました。
